Edelmannm is sensitively accompanied by Marco Ozbič. The pianist knows how to emphasise the melodic pleasantness of the Donaudy songs without overdoing it, making them sound honest and unaffected. In the pieces by Respighi and Tosti, however, he fully exploits the psychological possibilities of the piano part. Respighi's 'La fine' can be cited as exemplary.
